Prediction:  February 6th will be a night of either great joy or excruciating torment. It will be the Super Bowl of course and as good a reason as any to drop by for few drinks and great food.  It will also be the last of the good football games this season, which is simultaneously a reason for joy and depression.  Joy in anticipation of a good game and depression at the thought that we won’t see another good one until sometime in September.

Why not drop by and listen to the cheering and simultaneous cries of great anguish as various tokens change hands?  Not that the proprietors of the Pub would encourage public wagering, but it has been known to happen and we do know that our guests are intelligent, adventurous, fun loving and occasionally inclined to compete.

There will be a Pro Bowl game, but who in the hell can get excited at a bunch of guys suffering from hangovers pushing a football back and forth and trying their damnedest to avoid getting hurt in this the last game of the season?
